Objective

Your role is crucial in ensuring the success of the team by executing specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives that align with business strategies and objectives. You will ensure that all activities comply with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

The Global Network Operations (GNO) team at Scotiabank is responsible for the continuous operation of the bank's network worldwide. This team monitors the global network, troubleshoots issues, and implements necessary changes. We provide Level 1 and Level 2 support and collaborate closely with the Global Network Engineering (GNE) teams to resolve complex network challenges, ensuring that all operational initiatives are executed in compliance with regulations and service level agreements.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Global Network and ABM Operations, you will play a vital role in documenting, planning, and implementing security measures, monitoring services, triaging, and addressing network alerts and events globally. You will also be involved in planning and executing network changes to prevent or resolve incidents.

Occasionally, you may participate in after-hours change implementations or troubleshoot major incidents during evenings or weekends.

Qualifications
  • 4-7 years of experience in project coordination or management.
  • Strong financial management skills with project budgets.
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written/presentation), relationship-building, and analytical abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, with a knack for creating executive presentations.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., CA PPM, MS Projects, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Preferred: PMP certification.
