Job Description

The Data Management Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the operations of the HR Data Management team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data processing services to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of data management professionals to deliver accurate and timely data processing services.
  • Develop and implement operational effectiveness plans to enhance efficiency and quality standards.
  • Monitor performance through regular reporting, internal controls, and customer feedback mechanisms.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement within the team and across the Operations group.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for HR Data Management, representing the team on corporate projects and initiatives.
  • Assist with managing and hiring team members, reviewing performance, and creating a strong team atmosphere.
  • Create an environment that fosters effective and efficient operations while ensuring adherence to business controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Build a high-performance team by fostering an inclusive work environment and implementing a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates team members.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in Business or Human Resources.
  • Significant relevant experience in operations management or customer-focused areas.
  • Experience coaching or leading teams.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational structure, complexity, and employee data administration processes.
  • Proven teamwork capabilities, relationship management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attentive to details and deadlines, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.

Working Conditions:

This role will work in a standard office-based environment with non-standard hours common. Limited travel domestically may be required.
