About the Role:
The External Reconciliation Specialist is a key member of the Solvo Global SAS team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions. This individual contributor role reports to the Reconciliation Resolution Manager and plays a critical part in maintaining the company's financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Reconciliation: Research and resolve transactions that did not clear the bank, ensuring all discrepancies are addressed and corrected.
- Manual Transaction Correction: Verify and correct manual transactions to ensure they are accurately reflected in the reporting period, including ACH on-demand transactions, penalty & interest paid by Solvo Global SAS, and M&A funds received for pending liabilities.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOP): Ensure all transactions are researched and resolved in accordance with established SOP, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Adjusting Entries: Submit adjusting entries to the treasury team as defined in SOP, ensuring seamless financial operations.
- Case Resolution: Assist with resolving cases in the NetSuite CRM system, providing timely and effective support to the team.
- Additional Projects: Participate in other projects as assigned, contributing to the growth and success of Solvo Global SAS.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 1 - 3 years of bookkeeping experience, with a strong understanding of financial transactions and reconciliation processes.
- Skills: Detail-oriented, self-starter with intermediate Excel skills and ability to work with multiple software (SAAS, CRM).
- Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
- Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, with the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
