PCL - Utility Food and Beverage Steward

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Steward to join our team on board our luxurious cruise ships. As a Food and Beverage Steward, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is nothing short of perfection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of food and beverage items to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure the correct setup and presentation of food and beverage areas, adhering to brand standards.
  • Maintain stock levels of bar, food, and hotel items required in the assigned location.
  • Support the service team to exceed food and beverage targets by applying all Service Excellence standards.
  • Resolve any guest issues promptly and efficiently, collaborating with teammates as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate recording of guest orders through the onboard POS system.
  • Maintain current knowledge of public health standards and ensure adherence to standards and immediate reporting of any out-of-compliance issues to supervisor/manager.

Requirements:

  • Proven F&B experience (1 year) as Restaurant/Bar Waiter, F&B Runner, or in similar roles.
  • Basic knowledge of Public Health and Sanitation regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to organize and complete work meeting deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Food and Beverage products.
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
