Job Overview

The Pricing and Financial Strategist role at Lexmark International, Inc. is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in pricing and financial management to drive business growth. In this position, you will play a critical role in managing a team of 3 HC members who provide Pricing Support to territories in North America (NA) and Latin America (LA). Your responsibilities will include developing, structuring, and analyzing highly customized or configurable opportunities for hardware, supplies, services, and software solutions.

You will interact closely with the North America (NA) and Latin America (LA) Enterprise Sales and Back-office teams as a trusted business partner. Your primary goal will be to protect and preserve Lexmark's profitability margins and influence the NA & LA Enterprise Sales teams on the best pricing strategy to deploy for end customers (B2B) direct deals or opportunities based on deep knowledge of Lexmark offerings, sales/business strategy, competitor market, and MPS (Managed Print Services) value proposition.

To excel in this role, you will need to possess a strong business acumen, analytical and financial modeling skills to identify and interpret financial data, simulate complex business scenarios using GP, NPV, IRR, Payback financial indicators, and generate deal-specific Cash Flows and Profit & Losses. Additionally, you must have good communication skills to articulate complex financial information and contractual concepts in easy-to-understand terms for recommendations and negotiation with Sales team members, management, and executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage financial models to provide competitive pricing for the MPS line of business.
  • Active participation in Deal Pricing Reviews Geo Sales to communicate, protect, and preserve profitable margins with satisfactory pricing to Sales for customer formals/orals/negotiations.
  • Closed collaboration with Sales teams to obtain and capture proper customer requirements, deal assumptions, and conditions.
  • Closed collaboration with Back-office Teams to ensure all pricing schedules and corresponding T&Cs are furnished for accurate, complete, and timely representation in our legal contracts and enterprise systems.
  • Gather and analyze information to identify trends and publish insights to identified Pricing stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business discipline.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Pricing, Financial Management, or related disciplines.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong written, presentation, and verbal skills.
  • Good working knowledge of CRM (MS D365), CPQ (Experlogix), and ERP (SAP).
  • Bilingual Spanish - English.

Compensation and Benefits: The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
