We are on the lookout for a Senior technical leader to drive product delivery and platform excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Symphony clients to craft and deliver digital solutions that unlock new levels of business value.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high‑performance architectural solutions. Ensure alignment with business requirements and technical standards.
- Provide expert guidance and coaching to developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Partner with UX/UI designers, data scientists, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and efficient delivery of solutions.
- Ensure best practice is applied and ensure clear communication across teams.
- Implement best practices for performance optimisation, security, and scalability.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating cutting‑edge solutions to enhance our products and development processes.
- Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Define and drive the technical vision and strategy for solution architecture, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of professional experience in solution architecture, with a significant portion in a senior or lead role.
- Experience with backend, frontend and cloud technologies (tech‑agnostic).
- Ability to scope and estimate project requirements.
- Ability to present technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Strong analytical capabilities for identifying and resolving engineering trade‑offs.
- Knowledge of design and architectural patterns.
- Principles of software engineering.
- Good understanding of server and network infrastructure, experience with cloud platforms.
- Experience designing and developing distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
- Experience balancing and optimising large‑scale production systems is a plus.
- Relational and non‑relational database fundamentals.
- Excellent time management, communication, decision‑making, presentation and organisational skills.
- Problem‑solving and a consultant mindset, through partnership with client stakeholders and counterparts.
