Assistant Cluster Purchasing Manager
An Assistant Cluster Purchasing Manager shall manage the binding, legitimacy and validity of service and/or product contracts for all hotels in the brand. He/she will assist the Purchasing Manager in the procurement follow-up of CAPEX and FF&E projects. He/she will provide periodic reports to the Purchasing Manager on the sector's price behavior. Follow up the processes of the Purchasing team.
**What will I be doing?**
As Assistant Cluster Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards, for all properties (Hotels in the brand):
- Ensure contracts are up to date and current with their respective policies.
- Generate monthly “Critical Contract List” reports.
- Report on negotiation opportunities at the national level to obtain commercial agreements to improve pricing and commercial terms.
- Communicate all monthly savings to the hotel team.
- Maintain good communication and working relationships with all COP Department and properties.
- Attend financial meetings as needed.
- Generate month end close reports (Purchase Orders, Contracts, Vendors).
- Ensure good compliance with COP processes.
- Ensure good compliance with Hilton Policies.
- Coordinate the news of the COP team (vacations, permits, licenses, etc.)
- Act in accordance with safety, health and fire regulations and follow correct procedures when necessary.
- Perform your role and that of the team in an environmentally friendly manner.

- Previous experience in a high volume Accounts function
- Computer literate, with good MS Excel skills
- Good time management and organization skills
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous experience with the Birchstreet and the SUN System
- Relevant degree, in Finance/Accounting or related business discipline, from an academic institution
