**Project Summary**:
This five-year Third-Party Monitoring and Evaluation Project will establish increased access to independent, impartial information on the outputs, progress, quality, challenges, and successes of selected humanitarian assistance projects. This project will provide a comprehensive range of verification, monitoring, and evaluation services that will improve the quality of programming, allow for real-time program adjustments, and increase accountability to beneficiaries. The project will confirm that assistance is addressing the urgent needs of target beneficiaries by conducting monitoring that applies Do No Harm approaches and cognizant of the trauma suffered by recipients.

**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain the structural integrity of the program's tools for collecting and managing information.
- Maintain the structural integrity of IT systems.
- Perform maintenance, update, and monitor the program's technological equipment and solve IT operational problems when required.
- Track the licensing subscriptions of the program.
- Attend and solve the IT needs of program users.
- Control the execution of equipment corrective and preventive maintenance contracts.
- Generate control methods for the correct supervision of guarantees of computer equipment purchased by the organization.
- Provide support to users to solve problems that may arise with computer equipment.
- Support in the control of the execution of contracts related to the technological infrastructure of the organization.
- Support the administration of equipment that offers network access security such as IDS, IPS, Firewall, Proxy, etc.
- Ensure WAN connectivity and maintenance, internet connection and services, and device configuration and maintenance.
- Manage and supervise the support provided by local companies such as ISP or other provider or IT services.
- Communicate with Headquarters IT team regarding network, system hardware, and software changes/problems/updates, user registration, updates, and deregistration.
- Assist in the acquisition and evaluation of all technical equipment, in accordance with USAID computer standards and procedures.
- Communicate constantly with the IT team regarding the implementation of special functions in the system.
- Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures established at MSI and USAID.

**Descripción de la consultoría**:
El cargo de consultor de tecnología bajo modalidad de contrato por demanda trabajará bajo la supervisión del gerente administrativo y financiero del programa prestando sus servicios para el apoyo en el área Helpdesk, informática y tecnología. Es responsable de supervisar las necesidades informáticas del programa, incluidas las instalaciones de sistemas, mantenimiento, soporte y asesoramiento técnico, garantizando que se sigan las normas establecidas por la Casa Matriz. Las responsabilidades también incluyen la gestión y el mantenimiento de LANs (Redes de Área Local) en la oficina principal del programa en Bogotá. Asegurará que se sigan los procedimientos adecuados de copia de seguridad y restauración, mantendrá la seguridad de la red (antivirus y dispositivos de comunicación), y de que los usuarios finales tengan acceso a archivos compartidos, impresoras y correo electrónico. Cuando sea necesario, también será responsable de realizar evaluaciones de TI para garantizar que se proponen y proporcionan a los beneficiarios las soluciones adecuadas (equipos, software y servicios).
