Technology Consultant SAP MM_
- Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Key Responsibilities:
- Business analysis _
- Investigates operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organisation.
- Assists in defining acceptance tests for these recommendations.
- Brings along solid business process understanding in the Procure to Pay & Supply Chain areas.
- Requirements definition and management _
- Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for small
- scale changes and assists with more complex change initiatives.
- Provides constructive challenge to stakeholders as required.
- Prioritises requirements and documents traceability to source.
- Reviews requirements for errors and omissions.
- Provides input to the requirements base-line.
- Investigates, manages and applies authorised requests for changes to base-lined requirements, in line with change management policy.
- Translates SAP MM specific business requirements into system solutions.
- Porting/software configuration _
- Assists in the configuration of software and equipment and the systems testing of platform
- specific versions of one or more software products.
- Documents faults, implements resolutions and retests to agreed standards.
- Provides solid hands-on SAP MM expertise for configuring system related changes in the trade & non-trade procurement, demand planning, MRP, inbound delivery, inventory management, subcontracting, stock transport order & vendor master.
- Drives solution design under consideration of end-2-end system impact (including outbound & inbound interfaces) and has a focus on standardization & harmonization.
- Application support _
- Considers operational requirements already during solution design.
- Supports issue resolution in the SAP MM area if required.
- Resource Management_
- May be involved and gives some input on hiring Transition decisions
- Ensures appropriate leadership skills are present at every level through creating a motivational and supportive work environment in which employees are coached, trained and provided with career opportunities through development
- Key Relationships:
- Global IT
- Respective business function (GOPS, Finance, HR, Brand Marketing, Wholesale/Retail)
- HR Management
- Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- College or university degree with focus on Business Administration or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient spoken and written command of English (B2 minimum)
- Experience in IT
- Consultancy experience in SAP MM module (SAP AFS and S4 Hana Fashion knowledge is a plus).
- Cross-functional SAP knowledge towards SD and FI/CO module is a plus. Cross SAP system knowledge in SCM/APO is a plus.
- Strong understanding of tech & business processes in the “Material Management” area.
- Understanding of different culture
- Participated in projects with people from other functions/markets
- Knowledge in Jira, agile methodologies and Service Now is a plus
