Our business DuPont Water & Protection / Safety - Aramids is looking for an Account Manager. As Account manager you will execute demand generation at end-user level and develop opportunities related to Aramid Businesses. Manage End-User and client´s expectations and monitor acquisition processes, targeting new sales been converted extracting best of our most updated portfolio. Be responsible to manage leads and keep updated account plans in a dynamic cross-functional environment to ensure sustainable and aggressive growth targets. This role includes a mixture of management of demand, support product development, joint marketing and sales activities at direct customers and end-users.
**Your key responsibilities**:
- Drive growth at strategic Aramids clients and end-users in Andean Region.
- Responsible for prospecting end-users & growing existing clients.
- Develop/Implement account plans to key end-users & explore joint developments to ensure right fit.
- Resolving end-user issues and define unmet needs. Feedback end-user unmet needs to DuPont.
- Develop and lead execution/coordination of the key end users’ strategies.
- Support commercial negotiations on contracts, price positioning, sales deals & other programs.
- Support creation, manage & negotiate growth marketing programs.
- Facilitate relationships between all levels of DuPont & end-users & direct customer
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry / Engineering (Materials, Mechanics preferred)/ Business or Marketing (MBA is a plus)
- Experience in tender-based segment, mainly Government Sales are appreciated.
- Background on the following industries is considered a bonus: Ballistic Protection, Automotive, O&G, Mechanical Protection, Industrial and Fiber optical cables
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to convince the end users and demonstrate value on a solution which requires a change of mindset.
- Resilient to long sales cycles
- Creative/Out of the box thinking.
- English proficiency required.
- Ideally sales experience in safety related products with experience in B2B selling and tender processes.
- Proven track record of achieving sales results.
- Solid Leadership skills and business acumen capabilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%, with consistent boots on the ground approach.
