**Job Summary**:

- The GBS Global Customer Operations Specialist provides support to international customers as well as the Global Supply Chain organization. Ensure that all proper service is provided to Zimmer Biomet Entities, Third Party customers and vendors for activities such as order management, demand allocation, returns, communication and other related tasks**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Executes return recalls and transportation operations processes in the region
- Processes return transactions
- Executes inventory redeployment process in the region
- Monitors shipment schedules
- Administers documentation for import/export and customs compliance
- Allocates goods within the system (NL)
- Dedicated to support specific region based on volume and/or complexity.
- Registers service complaints and follow up till resolution.
- Supports cross functional process improvement initiatives and projects.
- Administers the Order2Cash process.
- Miscellaneous duties as needed.

**Expected Areas of Competence**:

- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Responsible for understanding and conforming to the Company Quality system as it applies to the specific activities being performed.
- Ability to collaborate cross functionally with other departments and with a variety of corporate team members.
- Ability to analyze situations and resolve problems
- Problem solving and analytical assessment capability.
- Strong customer orientation and high degree of professionalism is required.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and timely follow through are critical.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to quickly learn new software systems: DCS, SAP, CPR, JDE, Livelink, etc.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and successfully handle multiple priorities while promoting a friendly and engaging work environment.
- Ability to handle high work load and drive department metrics.

**Education/Experience Requirements**:

- Professional degree in the areas of logistics or finance
- 2 Years of relevant work experience or combination of work experience and advanced education.
- Preferred experience in commercial operations, supply chain or manufacturing.
- Preferred communication experience with customers.
- willingness to learn.
- Relevant work experience with SAP Order Entry.
- good attitude
- Good fluency in English

**Travel Requirements**:

- Less than 5%
