**About the Role**:

- As the Communication and Marketing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing communication and marketing strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions at PayU Latam. You will lead a team and marketing agencies to achieve the company's objectives. A deep understanding of marketing principles and techniques is essential for success.

**What you will do**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
- Align strategies with overall business goals and liaise with relevant departments to ensure goal attainment.
- Utilize data-driven insights to enhance the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute external and internal events to promote brand awareness and thought leadership.
- Evaluate and measure the success of events through key performance indicators.
- Ensure that content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to marketing and communications.
- Manage the marketing and communications budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation for maximum impact and performance.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to assess the return on investment.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. An MBA is a plus
- +7 years of proven experience in marketing and communications roles, preferably in the fintech or high-tech industry.
- Proven experience leading teams
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English [C1].
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and analytics.
