The **SEO Strategist** will be responsible for supporting all client SEO projects, aiding in keyword research, site auditing, content strategy and link building to increase organic search rankings and drive search traffic. A successful SEO Strategist should keep up-to-date with the latest industry best practices and be able to work closely with web development, creative and content teams to develop a successful organic search strategy, from development through execution.

**What do you need to succeed?**
- Proven SEO experience (5+ years) and a track record of successfully growing organic search traffic and conversions.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing metrics and best practices in SEO and inbound marketing tactics.
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Adobe Analytics) including goal setting, ecommerce tracking, and custom reporting. Google Analytics Certification Preferred.
- Experience working with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Vignette).
- Familiarity with project management tools, software, and methodology (e.g., Asana, Basecamp, Jira).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to self-manage time and work schedule.
- Positive, flexible, and well-organized to thrive in a fast-moving environment and meet challenging deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong working relationships.
- Techstacks: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Adobe Analytics, WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Vignette, Asana, Basecamp, Jira, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, SEMRush.

**What awaits you in this role?**
- Conduct ongoing keyword research and provide keyword targeting and metadata recommendations using tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Google Analytics, etc.
- Audit websites for low-hanging fruit opportunities and deliver prioritized recommendations for improving SEO rankings through technical execution, content enhancement, and link recommendations.
- Research and analyze competitor content and backlinks.
- Assist Senior SEO Strategist in developing and implementing SEO strategies and tactics.
- Audit Google Business Profiles (where applicable) to identify issues and opportunities across each profile. Implement improvements and perform monthly optimizations, including citation building, content updates, NAP consistency monitoring, and monthly reporting.
- Analyze monthly SEO reports.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to enhance SEO positions for target keywords.
