**We are searching for the best talent for Commercial Operations Data Scientist to be in Bogotá.**
**Purpose**:Commercial Operations Data Scientist will develop reports, dashboards, and templates that allow the regional and local marketing Depuy Synthes teams to make decisions based on data analytics and constantly track the results for further improvement.
Collaborates with regional marketing leaders to develop prescriptive analyses, to get to a country-specific portfolio that leads to profitable growth, improving value to our customers and business sustainability through life-cycle product management.
Supports the phase-in & phase-out strategy, developing tools to supervise and optimize the new products' performance and phase-out process for all platforms.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Build analytical data models that allow answering business questions.
- Share data insights with marketing regional directors.
- Identify data and metrics to analyze the portfolio performance.
- Build data visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
- Find automatization and optimization of the updating of dashboards and reports that give agility and faster access to the users.

**Education**:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree, preferably in Economics Business, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Experience: 2 o more years analyzing data and providing insights to help businesses make data-driven decisions.
- 2 o more years building data visualizations and dashboards through business intelligence software. (e.g. Power Query, Tableau)
**Experience and Skills**:
**Required**:
- Strong analytical skills, with knowledge of statistical methods and data visualization techniques.
- Proficiency in data manipulation tools such as Excel, Power Query, and SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Process oriented, attention to detail, and hands-on approach.
**Preferred**:
- Agile project management experience is preferred.
- Experience and knowledge in the use of machine learning algorithms is strongly preferred.
