Overview and Key Functions

We are looking for Production Supervisors with experience in manufacturing areas, who help us to build the future.

Based in Bogotá, Colombia, the Production Supervisor is responsible for leading production teams, ensuring that activities are executed effectively according to guidelines and standards to deliver high-quality products to customers.

The Supervisor is responsible for managing resources within the production plant, monitoring the proper use of raw materials, supplies, and machinery, and providing leadership and motivation to the team of workers to achieve productivity and efficiency goals required by the organization. They must maintain discipline and compliance with company policies, ensure that corporate values are promoted, and procedures, health, safety, and environmental standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

Manage resources within the production plant, monitor the proper use of machines and equipment, and ensure efficient use of raw materials, supplies, and other resources.

Accompany machine preparations, auditing that they are done according to procedures and work orders, and ensuring that the operator has everything they need, on time, and correctly.

Monitor the correct execution of activities within the production plant, ensuring that they are performed according to procedures, meet production standards, and manufacture products according to production orders, customer requirements, quality specifications, and process requirements.

Monitor the correct loading of production information into the ERP and ensure timely transfer of materials.

Ensure that products are identified, scrap is properly classified, product over-sizing is controlled, non-conformances are segregated and given the proper treatment.

Manage product and raw material inventories within the plant, find solutions for low-rotation products, avoiding their financial provision through timely actions that allow for the use or disposal of materials.

Lead, guide and motivate the team to perform activities safely, ensure that safety programs are executed, prevent accidents, conduct BBS, 6S audits, and ensure that the workplace is clean and organized.

Accompany training for operator development, guide new operator onboarding, and manage personnel training.

Who We're Looking For?

Professionals in production engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields.

Minimum 2 years of experience supervising manufacturing areas

Experience working rotating shift schedules per week, 8-hour shifts, morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing

Knowledge of production indicators

Knowledge of occupational safety and health standards

Proficient in Office (Excel-Word-Power Point) and ERP.

El supervisor(a) es responsable de la administración de los recursos dentro de la planta de producción, vigilar el uso correcto de las materias primas, insumos y maquinaria, y ejercer el liderazgo y la motivación Ndentro del equipo de operarios, que permitan alcanzar las metas de productividad y eficiencias requeridos por la organización. Debe mantener la disciplina y el cumplimiento de las políticas de la compañía, asegurar que se impulsen los valores corporativos, se cumplan los procedimientos, normas de salud, seguridad y medio ambiente

Principales **Responsabilidades**:
Administrar los recursos dentro de la planta de producción, vigilar el correcto manejo de las máquinas y equipos, el uso eficiente de las materias primas, insumos y demás recursos.

Acompañar las preparaciones de las maquinas, auditando que se hagan de acuerdo a los procedimientos, órdenes y asegurando que el operario tenga todos lo necesario, a tiempo y de manera correcta.

Hacer seguimiento a la correcta ejecución de actividades dentro de la planta de producción, que se realicen de acuerdo con los procedimientos, que se cumplan con los estándares de producción y que se fabriquen los productos de acuerdo a la orden de producción, los requisitos del cliente, las especificaciones de calidad y de proceso.

Monitorear que se realicen el correcto cargue de información de la producción en el ERP y que se trasladen los materiales a tiempo

Vigilar que se identifique el producto, se clasifique adecuadamente el scrap, se controle el sobredimensionamiento de los productos, se segregue el no conforme y se le dé el tratamiento adecuado

Gestionar los inventarios de producto y materias primas dentro de la planta, dar solución
