**We are searching for the best talent for [Medical Affairs Director LATAM] to be in Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, or Panama.**

**Purpose**:
Provide Medical Affairs leadership for a specific TA in the LatAm region, owning and driving the overall medical strategy and plans for in market and pipeline products, in close alignment with the IBVT.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Lead the development and implementation of the regional medical affairs strategic plan: medical education, evidence generation, scientific communications and field based medical activities for the TA
- Ensure early and robust regional medical input for pipeline products and product launches
- Drive consistency and alignment of Medical Affairs strategies, goals and activities across the region recognising the increasing complexity of the regulatory and payer environment and the diversity of individual country’s healthcare systems
- Provide medical leadership to the IBVT and co-creation activities
- Lead the Regional Medical Affair Teams and build alignment with local Medical Affairs managers in each operating company
- Partner with regional and global functions as an effective member of relevant Global Medical Affairs Teams
- Ensure all activities are in accordance with HCBI and applicable local guidelines
- Maintain awareness of latest scientific and clinical advances
- Provide scientific support to internal and external customers
- Share expert Therapeutic Area - Immunology and product knowledge with internal stakeholders
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders (Key Individuals, payers, healthcare providers and patients) and advocate for Janssen’s products. Provide scientific support as required and gather information and insights.
- Lead regional clinical advisory board strategies and execution
- Oversee regional evidence generation activities and ensure execution is line with overall MAF plan
- Oversee regional Medical Education activities in line with the overall MAF plan

**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications**:

- Medical Doctor with higher medical qualification
- Immunology expertise is desired
- Deep knowledge of drug development process, including clinical epidemiology, randomized controlled trials, and publication plans
- 10-12 Years Work Experience, preferred in pharma industry, ideally in Medical Affairs with a minimum of three years of experience in a relevant area, proven track record of leading people with complex accountabilities and broad experience working with teams outside of medical affairs
- Communication and presentation skills
- Business acumen
- Teamwork, negotiation, coaching and influencing skills - able to work effectively in a matrix
- Proven capability in attracting and developing talent to support future succession needs
- Deep understanding in healthcare and medical compliance
- Proven capacity to work through complexity, difficulty, and adverse situations with agility and adaptability
- Previous Medical Director Experience or similar level desirable
- Awareness of, and adherence to, Johnson & Johnson Credo values
- Fluent English Level
- Availability for traveling 25%
