**Industry Value Advisor - Financial Services Industry (Bank & Insurance)**
Adopt standardized approaches for value-based sales activities on focus industries/solutions. Enable the field and support roll -out of new field training; may conduct in class training for specific industries and contribute to e-learning content. Act as trusted advisor for customers. Support development of pipeline build strategies and scale initiatives resulting in increased industry pipeline, revenue, and elevation of SAP's leadership position in an industry segment. Create content in pursuit of targeted sales opportunities. Contribute to high-quality business plans which clearly articulate a value proposition and key execution steps.

The SAP Industry & Value Advisory (IVA) organization is chartered with differentiating SAP as the innovation partner of choice by making the Intelligent Enterprise value and experience real for every customer.
The Industry Advisory job family is part of IVA but sits within each region and supports the regional industry business to grow sales pipeline and engage with our customers to secure revenue. This job focuses on adopting standardized approaches for value-based sales activities in focus industries and related solutions from SAP and partners. Industry Advisory supports the development of pipeline build strategies and scale initiatives resulting in increased industry pipeline, revenue, and elevation of SAP’s leadership position in an industry segment in partnership with regional sales and the Virtual Account Team.
Senior Industry Advisor provides sales cycle support on solutions specific to the industry. Responsible for identification and Implementation of industry pipeline build strategies and scale initiatives resulting in increased industry pipeline, revenue, and elevation of SAP’s leadership position in an industry segment. Execute a scalable program/ activities in focused industry segments. Internally recognized senior on complex industry business matters.

Strategy - Industry & GTM Planning
- Lead and drive the development of Industry business plan aligned with Sales leadership and Industry Business Unit
- Enable/Industrialize Sales, Marketing, Inside Sales and the broader Virtual Account Teams
- Influence and “Industrialize” SAP Partners and drive engagements
Demand Generation
- Lead the development of industry-relevant account strategies working with sales teams
- Collaborate and execute with Marketing on Events, Social and Digital plans to develop leads leveraging new content, benchmarking, tools available
- Present at industry and customer conferences
Business Development / Demand Acceleration
- Lead early-stage customer executive meetings
- Lead industry-relevant customer engagements to nurture opportunities
Customer Engagement to Deliver Revenue
- Work as part of one Virtual Account Team to jointly develop and refine customer deliverables to incorporate industry relevance and SAP differentiated value proposition
Insights / Practice Development
- Develop thought leadership, practice development project for a key line of business buying centers in industry
- Identify and build a pipeline of customer reference stories to showcase value metrics relevant to the Industry
**Experience & Educational Requirements**
Experience & Language Requirements
- Prior experience** with Bank Organizations(tradicional or new Bank). **Demostrated proficiency **in roles as: IT Manager, Digital Transformation process, Consulting, Business Develoment, Innovation. **SAP product experience and/or years prior relevant industry/solutions experience. Capable of leveraging a professional network on behalf of SAP resulting in pipeline and revenue growth. Proven track record of success in the selected industry area. Customer facing experience. Fluency in English, any other language an asset. Fluency in the language of local markets desirable.
- Financial retail related experience, from 5 to 8 years.
Education
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required, MBA or equivalent degree required from accredited university preferred.
