**GENERAL CONTEXT**
Médecins Sans Frontières is an international independent medical-humanitarian organization, which offers assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, creed or political affiliation.

MSF is a civil society initiative that brings together individuals committed to the assistance of other human beings in crisis. As such MSF is by choice an association. Each individual working with MSF does it out of conviction and is ready to uphold the values and principles of MSF.

**GENERAL OBJECTIVE**
MSF is currently in the process of reviewing its global Reward model. The Reward Advisor will be asked to contribute to the project of Rewards Review as a strategic advisor representing OCBA.
Supervise, monitor, and ensure the adequate design, implementation and management of MSF OCBAs Reward System for the areas under his/her responsibility, ensuring its alignment with the organizational needs and ambitions.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAIN TASKS**

In close coordination with HR colleagues (HR Advisors/HRCo´s/Deployment and Onboarding):
**Function Grading System Management**
- This position has a goal to maintain current Function Grid structure and prepare MSF Spain for the transition into the Global Grading. Framework. The position is planned for 1 year period.
- Manage any ongoing request concerning Function Grading (programmes, decentralized unit and HQ Spain).
- Look for opportunities to improve processes, standardizing what is possible.
- Provide guidance and support to managers regarding job classifications, explaining the rationale behind grading decisions.
- Assist with creating and maintaining job descriptions, ensuring they accurately reflect the assigned job classification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements related to job grading and classification. Standardizing what is possible.
- Ensure optimal intersectional collaboration, striving for international coherence and alignment.

**Global Grading Framework**
- The GGF is a framework developed by KornFerry, and project managed by International Office.
- Responsible for following up on any new developments regarding Global Grading Framework, pro-actively sharing any news.
- Lead the assessment and preparation of implementation of GGF in OCBA entities.
- Responsible for designing and proposing any needed documentation needed to facilitate the implementation and maintenance of GGF within OCBA.
- Ensure smooth roll-out of the GGF in all locations.

**Rewards’ System Implementation in OCBA**
- Monitor and guarantee the adequate implementation of MSF Staff Rewards’ frame, tools, policies and procedures. Among others, this includes the following:

- Pay policy any staff group
- Salary Benchmarks
- Salary review/proposals + financial estimations
- International Reference Field Function Grid (IRFFG) + other grading structures
- Benefit policy any staff group
- Validation and scoring of new Job Profiles
- Plan the implementation of Rewards’ related tools, policies and procedures in the Missions, and liaises with other parties when necessary (Homere Specialist, Benchmarking Unit, counterparts in other OCs, etc.)
- Maintains a regular contact with HR Advisors and HRCOs and is the first line of contact for them with regards to Salary Benchmarking Studies, this including technical practicalities when OCBA is appointed as “leading section”.
- Proactively identify and/or anticipate areas of improvement, challenges and risks for the Organisation or a particular Mission in his/her area of expertise. Advising on changes that can improve recurring challenges in the organisation.
- Design tools, policies, guidelines and procedures related to his/her area of expertise for the different users of the Rewards’ Frame and ensure its adequate implementation and management for MSFs global workforce Strive for intersectional alignment whenever possible.
- Build-up the MSF Rewards strategy supported by operational insight, calculations, scenario assessment, risk/benefits analysis. Enabling informed discussion on proposals and support the decision-making process with senior management. Continuously monitor policy implementation, propose changes, and use data analysis for insights.
- When advisable, is deployed to the field to lead the impact analysis and technical aspects of the implementation of Rewards’ related tools, especially those linked to locally hired staff.

**Support and guidance**
- Educate and brief/ debrief HRCOs on MSF common HR & rewards framework.
- Proactively give guidance and advise HR Advisors and HRCOs to ensure the adequate understanding, use, implementation and management of the Rewards’ frame.
- Gathers feedback from HR Advisors, HRCOs and other relevant HR actor
