Job Summary:
The responsibilities of a Desktop support person range from installation, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading computer hardware, software, peripherals and equipment.

Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and future planning needs of the company’s desktop environment to ensure optimal workplace performance.

**Responsibilities**:
**Support to Auxis End Users**
- General support and troubleshooting of users issues with computers and peripherals
- Users onboarding and off-boarding activities
- Peripheral and accessory installations
- User profile changes
- Endpoint system upgrades
- Endpoint installations and deployments
- General break & Fix
- How-to activities

**New Implementations, project and special activities**
- Support to meetings, training sessions and events that involve the use of office equipment
- Endpoint re-imaging’s, repurposing’s, reassignments and disposals
- Facilitate activities concerning office CCTV
- Maintain good conditions of meeting rooms and other specialty rooms concerning IT related elements
- Help support AV equipment available in the office
- Help maintain IT closets organized and safe

**Administrative work**:

- Monitor the performance of the company’s desktop infrastructure and make suggestions for improving efficiency
- Collaborate with existing vendors to evaluate the new technology that is available and make recommendations to management on using that technology
- Receive, accompany and facilitate the work of IT vendors around the office when applicable
- Process purchase requests of IT equipment
- Process IT related invoices for payment
- Monitor and control IT assets and peripherals using IT Asset Management tool
- Facilitate and control equipment repairs (internal and external)

**Manage Request/Incident tickets queued to the Desktop Team**: Skills and Experience:
**General Requirements**:

- English - Spanish Language (Oral and writing 85 % or higher), (B2+ or above).
- 2-5 years of technical support Experience Knowledge/Training in medium to big company Environment.
- High School diploma.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and involvement.
- Demonstrated experience in providing high levels of customer satisfaction and performance in a high transaction volume/high demand environment preferred.
- Good presentation and a polite, tactful, and friendly character.
- Based in Bogotá Colombia
- Ticketing tool experience.

**Technical Proficiencies (Must have)**:

- Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, VPN, network-shared printers and drives experiences.
- Windows based computers on corporate network environments.
- Hardware (assembling - disassembly Desktop, Laptops, Tablets, Monitor)

**Technical Proficiencies (Nice to have)**:

- MS Intune
- Mobile devices knowledge
- AV and CCTV knowledge
