**Financial Controller**
**Location: Office Based / Cali, Colombia**
**Type: FTC-8 Months**

Please note this is a 8-month contract role starting from January 2025.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Financial Controller to lead our financial department. As a key leader in the organization, you will manage and oversee all financial operations, develop financial strategies, and optimize taxation and economic resources to ensure sustainability, liquidity, and successful budget execution.

This role is pivotal in maintaining compliance with legal and multinational standards, as well as collaborating closely with the General Manager to achieve the company’s financial targets.

**This role will focus on**:

- Oversee general accounting, reconciliations, invoicing, purchases (local and foreign), inventory, portfolio management, treasury, payroll, taxes, financial reporting, and other accounting activities.
- Prepare and audit monthly and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, including the preparation of monthly, bimonthly, and annual tax filings.
- Lead monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and closing journals.
- Authorize purchase invoices, inventory adjustments, and sales credit notes.
- Manage supplier creation in the ERP system and oversee local/foreign supplier payments.
- Supervise fixed asset activation and monthly depreciation.
- Coordinate payroll, employee settlements, and other HR-related activities.
- Monitor and manage portfolios, ensuring compliance with internal controls and reporting standards (e.g., G3 reports).
- Communicate with external stakeholders, including government entities, suppliers, and customers.
- Handle additional activities as directed by the General Manager or Regional Controller.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
**Qualifications & Education**:

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferably with a specialization in finance.

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Proficient in administration, financial management, accounting, financial regulations, IFRS, payroll settlement, and taxation.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
