As a Support Specialist specializing in Payroll Operations, your primary objective is to provide team-based assistance for new hire reporting, direct deposit return processing, accurate garnishment administration, payroll support, and payroll administration for our small business clients. The Support Specialist embodies our core value of ‘Deliver Wow’, consistently exceeding expectations to resolve issues and seizing every opportunity to enhance technical knowledge, proactively supporting their team and our Customer Care clients. Top 5 Responsibilities 1. New Hire Reporting: Responsible for uploading New Hire Reporting, on a weekly basis, to state agency portals, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Conduct thorough research to identify and rectify errors in uploaded files promptly. Re-upload corrected files as necessary to maintain accurate records. 2. Direct Deposit Returns: Responsible for executing the Direct Deposit Returns process, on a daily basis, including timely client notification and appropriate documentation to maintain data integrity while documenting the tasks comprehensively for reference and audit purposes 3. Garnishment Administration: Responsible for managing garnishment setup and allocation based on received orders while adhering to legal requirements and specifications. Must validate client configurations for garnishment orders to ensure proper processing, including configuring third party payees, assigning garnishments accurately, conduct testing to verify functionality, and addressing any issues promptly 4. Payroll Support: Responsible for monitoring the Payroll Dashboard daily to ensure timely processing of Customer Care payrolls, including reaching out to Customer Care clients who have not processed payroll to offer assistance and facilitate timely payments. 5. Payroll Administration: Responsible for processing the Newburger Partnership payrolls each month, following the established procedures outlined in Sweet Process documentation. Additional payroll related responsibilities will be determined and allocated based on the individual's level of experience and expertise.
