What you'll do

You will report to the Services Manager Director to contribute toward the Configuration, Change and Release Management, responsible for establishment and maintenance of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) able to support all other ITIL Service Management disciplines.

Particularly the Change and Release Manager will be accountable for the successful execution of:

- Ensure standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all Changes to Configuration Items (CI) through effective Release Management.
- Establishment and running of a Change Advisory Board (CAB) associated with the customer(s) and/or in remote CSG's offices.
- Responsible for development of the Configuration Management systems including the design, implementation and management of new/improved systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepares and presents Configuration Management reports. These will include management (indicating suggested action to deal with current or foreseen shortcomings), impact analysis and configuration status reports.
- Liaison with all Service Management disciplines to ensure that any Changes are brought under Change Management control.
- Reporting on Change & Release activities.
- Coordinate services, implement & monitor Release Plans, including producing detailed timetables of events and documenting action plans.
- Ensure hardware and software being changed is traceable, secure and only correct, authorised and tested versions are installed.

You should have
- Experience: about 10 years' experience working in IT/business test
- Education: Bachelor's degree (Information Technology, Computer Science or Business (Computing Major)) or equivalent experience.
- Manage complex test programs. Proven ability to work within corporate policies and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of Telecommunication environment and customer services procedures
- Able to communicate in English (Advanced)
- In depth/established knowledge of testing concepts, processes and policy
- Leadership and work in a group environment and contribute to the effectiveness of group work through productive personal behavior
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate work assignments until completion
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Advanced skills in testing tool like HPQC, JIRA etc.
- ISTQB/CSTE accreditation is desirable
- ITIL accreditation will be an advantage
