**Legal Demand Writer for U.S. Law Firms - Remote Position (Colombia-Based)**

**What You'll Do**:
**Work Remotely**: Engage in meaningful legal work from the comfort of your home, supporting international clients and contributing to our mission of delivering superior legal documentation and support.

**Leverage AI Tools**: Enhance your legal writing and research with AI technologies like ChatGPT, designed to support and elevate your work, not replace it.

**Detailed Responsibilities**:

- ** Case Information Management**: Efficiently gather and analyze all relevant case details—medical records, accident reports, witness statements, etc. While AI tools can assist in organizing this information, your legal acumen is crucial in interpreting the data and understanding its implications for each case.
- ** Damages Calculation**: Use your understanding of personal injury law to accurately calculate the damages owed to clients, including medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering. AI tools may support by streamlining calculations, but your judgment and expertise drive the accuracy and persuasiveness of these claims.
- ** Preparation for Negotiations**: Ready detailed case summaries and documentation to aid attorneys in settlement negotiations. Your work will lay the foundation for negotiation strategies, with AI tools serving to enhance the preparation process through data organization and analysis.
- ** Client Communication**: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, providing updates on their case progress and ensuring they are informed and reassured throughout the process. AI tools may help manage communications, but your empathy and professional judgment are key to building trust and rapport with clients.

**Who We're Looking For**:

- Individuals with proven experience in legal or demand writing, preferably within personal injury law.
- Professionals comfortable using AI as a tool to supplement and enhance their legal writing and research.
- Excellent communicators with fluency in English, capable of delivering clear and concise information.
- Self-starters with the ability to work independently and maintain high organizational standards.
- Applicants must be based in Colombia and ready to work on a Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) schedule.

**Compensation**

Competitive compensation, adjusted to the standards and living costs of Colombia, based on a 40-hour workweek.
