Cost Specialist

As a COST SPECILIST you will lead our costing system so that it reflects the cost of the products marketed to measure the efficiency of the production process and facilitate the sales pricing process, being a strategic ally of the different departments.

You will report to the finance manager.

You will be #LI-Onsite in our site in Medellin Colombia.

**Main Responsibilities**
- You will ensure the correct functioning of the costing system defined in the company to implement improvements that guarantee a costing of the products.
- You will verify the information of the costing system to identify the causes of variations and implement corrective actions with the technical, manufacturing, purchasing and commercial areas.
- You will accompany the sales pricing process by providing cost information to the commercial team.
- You will manage the profitability of the product portfolio of all departments and generate actions to prevent its deterioration.
- You will ensure the correct cost allocation of the manufacturing process to implement actions that allow the optimization of resources.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Accountant, Administrative Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Financial Engineer or similar.
- Advanced English.
- Education: Cost accounting systems, intermediate English, advanced handling of Excel, customer service, Knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS, permanent update in accounting and tax regulations.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in similar positions with emphasis on Sales pricing, portfolio profitability follow-up, implementation of cost systems in industrial companies.
