Worldsensing products have been pioneering the industrial IoT since 2008. We’re looking for an outstanding Channel Account Manager to join our Sales Team.

**About Worldsensing**

Founded in 2008, Worldsensing works with more than 200 engineering service providers worldwide to help them improve geotechnical, geospatial and structural monitoring in mining, construction, rail and critical infrastructure management.

We’re looking for an experienced, energetic Channel Account Manager (LATAM) to join our Worldsensing team.

**Key data about the role**:
Department: Product Sales

Reports to: LATAM Sales Director/VP Sales

Contract: Permanent

Location: Bogota, Colombia

**The Mission**:
She/He will make sure that the products are made available in the international markets she/he is responsible for by having a clear view of what will be the customers need for each month and help the business predictability.

**Responsibilities**:

- To identify new business opportunities by tapping potential customers from different countries (all within the LATAM region). The 2 different areas will be Civil Engineering and Mining.
- To plan, design, develop, and implement different sales activities by researching the customer's needs and requirements.
- To make sure that the existing clients are retained and maintained while developing new customers.
- Ensure that all the sales and marketing activities are carried out within the agreed budgets, volume, and sales, and within the given time scales.
- To constantly review the distributor's performance and monitor their work, so that relevant information can be provided to the management.

**Requirements**:

- General business training and you have at least 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position internationally and in the sale of services and equipment.
- Successful business experience in the field of sensors or/and on any of the Worldsensing sectors: Civil engineering, Oil & Gas, Mining, Environment.
- An engineering degree is a plus.
- A strong geotechnical background will be a strong advantage for this position.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Being fluent in Portuguese is nice to have.
- Available to travel at least 40-50% of the time.
