This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage with GenAI's advanced technologies and familiarize yourself with vector search. The main areas of focus include the development and enhancement of our cloud-based search engine, implementing sophisticated full-text semantic and vector search capabilities, and utilizing AI techniques to address business challenges.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enhancement and development of the cloud-based search engine through continuous relevancy tuning
- Implementation of advanced full-text semantic and vector search capabilities, mainly utilized by RAG use cases
- Utilization of AI techniques to address business challenges
- Participation in the development of high-end products
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to facilitate client offerings
- Contribution to the ongoing refinement of the search engine
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- A minimum of 5 years of development experience coupled with robust Java skills
- A demonstrable history of leading and mentoring a team of engineers
- Proficiency in enterprise search platforms, full-text search technologies, and search engines
- Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch and Solr
- Proficiency in English at an upper-intermediate level
NICE TO HAVE
- Prior experience with Generative AI
- Profound knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Experience working with Apache Lucene Core and OpenSearch
