Lead Java Developer

We're looking for a **Lead Java Developer** to become a part of our **remote **team.
The individual in this position will design and develop high-quality software, adhering to best practices and coding standards. The role also involves maintaining close coordination with the team lead and fellow developers to create and conduct unit tests using JUnit to certify the codebase's reliability. As a lead developer, you'll participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback. You will be expected to stay abreast of technology trends, enhancing your knowledge and skills continually to better our development processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working collaboratively with the team lead and other developers for the creation and implementation of top-quality software solutions
- Producing clean, efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Developing and conducting JUnit unit tests to assure the sturdiness of the codebase
- Utilizing SQL for database interaction, data analysis, and query optimization
- Providing constructive feedback during code reviews and actively seeking feedback to improve skills
- Continually improving knowledge and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Java development in an agile enterprise setting
- At least 1 year of team leadership experience in software development, showing stellar leadership abilities
- Proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, Elastic DB, and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with JUnit, multithreading, and SQL
- In-depth understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Profound grasp of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Experience in collaboration with cross-functional teams and effective technical communication
- Capability of working independently and as a team member, showing excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Advanced fluency in written and spoken English (B2+)
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and technologies
- Exposure to Git and continuous integration tools like Jenkins
