SAP Developer

We’re looking to recruit an SAP Developer. This position will be a member of SAP Support team, reporting to the Senior SAP Development Manager. The successful individual will participate and contribute to the ongoing support and enhancement of our SAP landscape.

You will collaborate with Cross Functional and Technical IT Peers & Business Partners in supporting current development landscape solving incidents and implementing solutions and working cross team to complete objectives.

3 key objectives of the job and the approximate % of time spent performing each objective:

- Incident Management, Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate, diagnose, and solve SAP-related technical issues reported by end-users, implementing effective solutions within defined timelines and ensuring mínimal impact on business operations: 70%
- Development and Enhancement: Assist in development, enhancement, and implementation of SAP change requests to meet business requirements and regulatory compliance, collaborating with relevant stakeholders: 20%
- Service Request Handling: Respond to service requests, fulfill user requirements, and provide guidance on system functionalities to optimize user experience and productivity: 10%

**Key responsibilities**
- SAP Development Support: Provide expert-level support for all SAP development technologies, ABAP OO, Business Workflow, Adobe Forms, Smartforms, SAP Script, Gateway Services, iDocs, CDS Views, UI5 and other relevant technologies.
- SAP Development Standards: Follow SAP best practices including Clean Code guidelines ensuring readability, maintainability and scabaility of SAP implementations.
- Incident Management, Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve SAP-related technical issues reported by end-users, implementing effective solutions within defined timelines and ensuring mínimal impact on business operations.
- Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Manage SLAs with clear response and resolution times for different types of issues and incidents.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to support activities, including incident management and escalation when necessary and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles to facilitate efficient issue resolution and continuous improvement.
- Development and Enhancement: Assist in the development, enhancement, and implementation of SAP solutions to meet business requirements and regulatory compliance, collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct unit testing to ensure quality of deliverables.
- Service Request Handling: Respond to service requests, fulfill user requirements, and provide guidance on system functionalities to optimize user experience and productivity.
- Security and Data Privacy: Adheres to strict security and data privacy policies to protect sensitive information within SAP.

**Key requirements**
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Development.
- Proficiency in Core ABAP Technologies, Object Oriented Programming, Forms, Business Workflow, Integration Technologies.
- Quality and clean coding oriented
- Proven track record in incident management, change management, and SAP system troubleshooting within the SAP Development domain.
- Analytical thinking to understand and improve existing code.
- Ability to work collaboratively with functional teams and business users to identify and resolve issues.
- Proficient in communicating technical topics to non-technical audiences, especially business customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and work in multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility in Work Hours: Flexibility in the works hours is required, adapting to the dynamic needs of the role and occasionally working outside standard business hours.
- On-call Responsiveness: Ability to be on call for urgent incidents, ensuring prompt response and resolution during off-hours when necessary.
- Embrace a culture of continuous improvement and stay up with latest SAP technologies.
- Advanced english.

**Preferred Skills**
- Proficiency in modern SAP Technologies: ABAP Development Tools in Eclipse, Modern ABAP syntax, SAP UI5, OData, CDS Views, S/4HANA, Restfull ABAP Programming Model.
- Familiar with Clean ABAP Guidelines.
