**Comments and notes**:_ **Key accountabilities and responsibilities**:_
- They would be contacting insurance providers to manage the claims
- Greeting the claim open and sending letters of representation
- Do a lot of follow ups with current open claims
- Calling daily to go out and being the liaison between the client and the insurance company
- Entry level is fine
- Somebody that is eager to learn, willing to take directions, persistent and self motivated, persistent as they have to do a lot of follow ups.
- Assist Case Managers in collecting case evidence and documentation by contacting the necessary parties, i.e.: insurance companies/adjusters, hospitals, injured parties etc.
- Open claims and verify insurance as well as assist in the Property Damage procedures
- Process time sensitive mail to be delegated to the Case Managers
- Maintain calendar, phone and other records in an organized and timely fashion
- Perform other tasks as needed within the department Desired Qualifications
- Entry level position
- Verbal and written fluency in English & Spanish
- Time management and organization skills
- Ability to operate a personal computer with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
- Maintain a productive and professional relationship with fellow colleagues and clients From G&A
- Sends LORs; receives response
- Opens Claims/ Verifies insurance
- Send non-rep letters
- Assists with the PD procedures (clients with verified insurance only)
- Request insurance docs; saves into PMN (i.e. Dec pages, UM rejection, etc.)
- Request medical/hospital records; saves into PMN
- Scans mail; saves into PMN
- Provides exceptional customer service and attention to phone calls
- Responsible for pulling reports and updating case status and issue details accordingly
