Objective: Ensure the adequacy of the lines of brand products in the local market, meeting consumer demands and market segmentations, ensuring profitability. Main Responsibilities: - Analyze market information, such as ; fashion trends and behavior, brand positioning, monitoring competition and economic indicators - Visit the market for competitive analysis and performance monitoring of the selling points of the brand evaluating the sales of products and the shopping habits of consumers. - Attend relevant events in the market, identifying the main influences for the product lines. - Prepare monthly reports describing the research information collected and how these influence the collections. - Attending the presentations of the product lines in San Francisco to make the selection of products for the local market. - Assist and work with the Planning Demand area in the construction of the line purchasing planning ensuring the optimal mix between basics, seasonal and fashion, as well as the balance between tops and bottoms and supply products to all regions of the country. - Perform all the operational part of registration of all product information in local and global systems of bases. - Create sales prices of the products for each channel, ensuring the margin targets set by the finance department. - Provide the rational and the report of the construction price to the team of local and regional leadership for approval. - Ensure alignment of product strategies with initiatives of Marketing and Brand Environment and later with the areas of planning and shopping. - To present the collection of products in sales conventions of each channel directly assisting the commercial team franchises channel and training the wholesale channel representatives team. - Develop and set up selling tools such as the conventions; visual line plans, price lists, washes menu, conceptual and strategic presentations, identification tag of products, flags and headbands products. - Ask for and control the arrival of the sale showcases the collections. - Monitor arrivals of goods to the area of Supply Planning to ensure the delivery of products within the established flows. - Analyze sales reports to monitor the performance of the products. - Assess the life cycle of products suggesting actions that minimize risks of inventory mark downs, promotional packages, close outs. - Work in the definition of locally developed collection of footwear and accessories, as well as the children's line, using the same rationale for construction of the apparel collection.
REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum of 5 years of direct merchandising experience as buyer for new collections and as a team management at least 2 years. - Strong retail math and analytical skills; data manipulation. - Strong communication and systems skills: Advanced level Excel and PowerPoint. Additional merchandising or product systems knowledge is an advantage. - Experience in lifestyle brands or omnichannel environment is a plus. - English business proficiency required. - Merchandising, design, business degree or related discipline required
