We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in IBAGUE.

**As a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will focus on these responsibilities**:

- Development of competent mechanical maintenance resources.
- Promote high performance and zero injury culture.
- Mechanical maintenance annual plan.
- Responsible for all activities relating to the daily mechanical maintenance supervising of the power plant inclusive of planning and implementation of plant mechanical maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with the Operations crew relative to the condition of the plant equipment and performance and to provide suggestions for improvements
- People Administration as per Wärtsilä guidelines focused on a skilled and motivated Mechanical Maintenance Crew to assure good teamwork and Wärtsilä values living.
- Responsible for the implementation of plant safety policy and QHES procedures according to the assigned plan.
- Establish and implement standard mechanical maintenance policies and procedures in accordance with the Wärtsilä standards.
- Prepare reports, plans and budgets as instructed by the Line Manager and if they are requested by the Plant Manager and/or Agreement Manager.
- Identify and actively seek to improve maintenance and operational reliability and availability.
- Interaction: Relevant Wärtsilä offices and personnel
- Approve the planning of the mechanical maintenance program in line with the operational compromises.
- Fulfill all contractual and legal requirements applied to the assigned power plant.
- Availability: You must coordinate alternate availability with the line manager with the operation supervisor if required by plant conditions. Act as Backup in case of absence of the operation supervisor and shift supervisor.
- Plan, lead, and supervise daily mechanical maintenance activities at the power plant in order to ensure customer satisfaction and to reach set contractual quality and time targets, ensuring maintenance and operational reliability and availability of the plant according to the agreement.
- Development and improvement of the Mechanical Maintenance and all resources to its right implementation and administration
- Develop the mechanical maintenance working routines at the power plant

**To be successful in this role, we expect you to have**:

- Must have 7 years of experience in operations and mechanical maintenance.- Must have 5 years of supervisory experience.
- BS in Engineering is preferred.
- Contract planning and contract knowledge are desired.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands required for this position
