**Scope and responsibilities**
- Coordinates projects requested by the project teams, Conservation Director,
- Ensures programmatic commitments, TNC policies and procedures, financial standards and legal requirements are met and managed for compliance.
- Prepares and monitors monthly accounting reports and key asset and liability account balances, including endowment and loan budget centers.
- Responsible for the administrative aspects of private grants out to partner organizations, including assistance with due diligence activities, preparation and revision of agreements, review of invoices.
- Monthly preparation of Project Manager reports using spreadsheet server. Perform in-depth analysis of expenses, revenue and net assets of all awards to ensure accuracy of financial information and proper award management
- Prepare Quarterly reports for LAR finance, monthly end of close reports for DFO.
- Prepare yearly budget, quarterly forecast and other ad-hoc financial reports for NASCA and PERU business units.
- Coordinate reports, financial management of private grants with the Financial sustainability team.

**WHAT YOU'LL BRING**:
**Minimum Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and 5 years' related experience or equivalent combination.
- Communications in English and Spanish, both orally in and writing required.
- Demonstrated experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Pivot). Technical command of spreadsheet programs, general ledger reports and other financial management tools. Ability to manipulate, analyze and interpret data.
- Proven expertise of US GAAP/COLGAAP and understanding of fund accounting principles, practices and regulations. Experience and solid knowledge on using and maintaining automated systems.**Desired** **Requirements**

- Technical expertise on complex accounting/financial issues.
