Team Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business forward by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, building partnerships with restaurants in the local food industry while leading a high-performing sales team, coaching and developing them to achieve business results and contribute to the overall growth and success of our organization.
Role Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a competitive spirit and killer instinct in pursuing sales targets.
- Develop a deep understanding of the business and its key performance indicators (KPIs), and effectively align sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Utilize strategic thinking to track and analyze data, set clear goals, and identify the necessary actions to achieve desired results.
- Possess a hands-on approach, with a solid understanding of the restaurant industry and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
- Strong leadership skills, including lead and motivate the sales team by clearly communicating goals, providing guidance on data analysis, and setting priorities.
- Lead by example and share best practices with the team, fostering their development and growth.
- Drive operational efficiency by implementing clear goals, processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), tools, and evaluations.
- Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas, present information, and show persuasive selling skills.
Role Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in the commercial area with solid experience in account management and/or consultative selling.
- At least 3 years of experience managing teams.
- Results and performance driven.
- Strategic and Data-Driven thinking. Able to bring solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Motivated to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Easy to adapt and flexible towards a multicultural team.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
