PurposeContributes to the overall success of the GHRO Department by designing, delivering, and facilitating learning solutions that build and sustain knowledge and skills for all employees in Global HR Operations. The HR Ops Training lead will design innovative learning solutions that incorporate the end-to-end learning cycle (assessment, design, evaluation, and sustainment). The incumbent will design and develop learning solutions using a variety of modalities and technologies including eLearning, instructor-led, virtual Instructor-led, simulations, and performance support resources (job aids, procedures, processes self-directed learning paths).
Accountabilities- Champions a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Facilitates learning in a professional manner demonstrating the application of adult learning principles.
- Initiates cross-training as required in support of process, policy or system enhancements/changes and new launches.
- Creates learning and performance solutions for systems training, new hire training, and new skills training that will meet the learning needs of the GHRO team, ensuring an effective mix of functional and behavioral training.
- Works with subject matter experts (SME) to ensure learning content is accurate and reflects current processes.
- Identifies ways to leverage internal resources to improve efficiencies, including using (SME) employees to leverage best practices, skills, and knowledge.
- Ensures all digital learning deliverables meet the bank technology standards and accessibility requirements.
- Reviews, revises, and curates existing learning content for new hire training and new skills training for existing employees to ensure consistency and accuracy of information.
- Uses instructional design methodologies and techniques to design and develop learning solutions to meet diverse learner needs (utilizing various media including, instructor-led training, e-learning courses, and blended learning solutions).
- Understands how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations within respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk, and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook, and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
- Champions a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment; communicates vision/values/business strategy and manages succession and development planning for the team.
Support to ~300 team members in Global HR Operations.
All Business Lines Globally ~90000.
Supports all service channels (Phone, Email, On Demand, Direct Access) ~30000 per month.
Working knowledge of HR Systems including Case Management Systems, Core HR, Payroll, all modules.
Operates independently and collaborates with the team day to day.
Education / Experience / Other Information- 1+ year in related or similar skills.
- Adult Learning Certificate or equivalent relevant working experience.
- Knowledge of HR Policies, Processes, and Systems.
- Deep understanding and knowledge of Bank policies and procedures.
- Ability to demonstrate highly developed facilitation and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and a variety of design and development principles and methodologies.
- Demonstrated thorough knowledge of developing storyboards for the creation of eLearning programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - technical writing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information clearly and simply to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to act independently within defined objectives and direction.
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of tasks and functions and changing priorities.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in French or Spanish is considered an asset.
Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
