Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of the GHRO Department by designing, delivering, and facilitating learning solutions that build and sustain knowledge and skills for all employees in Global HR Operations. The HR Ops Training lead will design innovative learning solutions that incorporate the end-to-end learning cycle (assessment, design, evaluation, and sustainment).

Accountabilities
  1. Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  2. Facilitates learning in a professional manner demonstrating the application of adult learning principles.
  3. Initiates cross training as required in support of process, policy or system enhancements/changes and new launches.
  4. Creates learning and performance solutions for systems training, new hire training and new skills training that will meet the learning needs of the GHRO team, ensuring an effective mix of functional and behavioural training.
  5. Works with subject matter experts (SME) to ensure learning content is accurate and reflects current processes.
  6. Identifies ways to leverage internal resources to improve efficiencies.
  7. Ensures all digital learning deliverables meet the bank technology standards and accessibility requirements.
  8. Reviews, revises and curates existing learning content for new hire training and new skills training for existing employees to ensure consistency and accuracy of information.
  9. Uses instructional design methodologies and techniques to design and develop learning solutions to meet diverse learner needs.
  10. Understands how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  11. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations within his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls.
  12. Champions a high performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment.
Dimensions

Support to ~300 team members in Global HR Operations; All Business Lines Globally ~90000; Supports all service channels (Phone, Email, On Demand, Direct Access) ~30000 per month.

Education / Experience / Other Information
  1. +1 year in related or similar skills.
  2. Adult Learning Certificate or equivalent relevant working experience.
  3. Knowledge of HR Policies, Processes, and Systems.
  4. Deep understanding and knowledge of Bank policies and procedures.
  5. Ability to demonstrate highly developed facilitation and presentation skills.
  6. Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and a variety of design and development principles and methodologies.
  7. Demonstrated thorough knowledge of developing storyboards for creation of eLearning programs.
  8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  9. Ability to act independently within defined objectives and direction.
  10. Flexibility to adapt to a variety of tasks and functions and changing priorities.
  11. Strong planning, prioritization and time management skills.
  12. Proficiency in French or Spanish is considered an asset.
Working Conditions

Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
