Sagan is representing a rapidly growing company seeking a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. The client values energetic, coachable, and sharp individuals who are capable of growing with the organization.

Job Overview:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the financial health and operations of the company. You will handle various accounting tasks, from simple invoicing and chart of accounts management to more complex budgeting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable issues. Your expertise will support the company in making informed financial decisions and maintaining efficient financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage invoicing processes and ensure accuracy in the chart of accounts.
  • Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Develop and manage job-level budgeting, providing insights for cost control and financial planning.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks and financial reporting.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems to track financial interactions with clients.
  • Use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial reports to the leadership team.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for financial operations.
  • Collaborate with team members across different departments to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with financial policies.
  • Assist with financial forecasting and planning to support strategic business decisions.
  • Address any financial concerns or issues promptly and effectively.

Job Qualifications & Skill Sets

  • Genuine passion for finance and accounting.
  • Expertise in QuickBooks for comprehensive financial management.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems for tracking financial interactions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to think on your feet.
  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new tasks and technologies.
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to grow with the organization, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges.
