Currently, we are in the process of growing our team and are seeking a driven Senior Accountant to join us at our new Bogota office.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements, as well as private contributions, loans, and government contracts
  • Maintain internal control measures for revenue, costs, team, and organizational budgets, as well as actual expenditures
  • In collaboration with the CFO, establish financial benchmarks, budgets, monitoring programs, and reporting standards on a bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basis
  • Implement consistent accounting policies and procedures across all programs, adhering to federal, state, and local regulations
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow
  • Provide leadership and support to the accounting team, fostering a culture of trust and productivity

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in English
  • Skilled in Financial Software
  • 7-10+ years of demonstrated accounting experience
  • Professional accounting certification such as CMA, CGA, or CA
  • Experience with Workday considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with finance laws and regulatory standards (GAAP)
  • Thorough understanding of economic and banking processes
