The Payroll Executive Jr is responsible for executing the payroll settlement and payment processes in compliance with Colombia's legal regulations. This role involves managing monthly payroll accruals, maintaining data consistency between the payroll system and SAP, concluding month-end closing procedures, and addressing external obligations (such as EPS, fiscal entities, audit).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct payroll settlement processes, including loading atypical information, GHP interface, withholding calculation tests, report generation, bank portal file upload, and payment receipt generation.
  • Manage the accounting interface between the payroll system and SAP.
  • Execute the final clearance process for departing employees.
  • Ensure timely payroll payments in Andean Region countries based on each country's legal requirements and company-defined timelines.
  • Perform payroll settlement and payment processes in compliance with the legal guidelines of Andean Region countries.
  • Guarantee monthly accruals related to payroll are executed consistently.
  • Oversee data integrity between the payroll system and SAP, manage month-end closing procedures and reports, and address external obligations (EPS, fiscal entities, audit).
  • Manage country-specific payroll processes like Profit sharing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance, or relevant field.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English.
  • Familiarity with SAP.
  • 3 years of experience in Colombian payroll.
  • Understanding of Andina Payroll (Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Kactus is advantageous.
  • Experience in processing payroll for plant operators is desirable.
