  • Job Family Description
  • Roles in the Financial Control job family have ultimate accountability for true and fair representation of business performance in financial statements.
  • Financial Control roles take responsibility for the classification, consolidation and interpretation of financial data, the coordination and management of financial reporting (including the provision of insight, analysis and the accurate and timely delivery of end market budgets, management accounts and financial accounts) and the monitoring of financial risks.
  • Accountabilities
  • Works on the compliant, efficient and effective management of financial assets and resources in line with business strategy and operational requirements.
  • Focuses on monitoring, reporting and management of financial processes and specialist administration services.
  • Provides advice and guidance as well as ensuring appropriate financial governance and controls are in place.
  • Requires financial expertise and knowledge to prepare reporting and management information for the purposes of budgeting and forecasting.
  • Provides analysis and insight to handle Diageo's finances.
  • Accountable for the accuracy and fair representation of the legal entity financial documents
  • Responsible for making sure the BFC reporting is complete and accurate
  • Keep good interpersonal relations with all working teams in order to keep a positive working climate and support to reach the goals of the team
  • Improvement in execution supporting decision making and focus on the analysis instead on processing by using company designated tools like Power Bi, etc.
  • Experience 2 years of experience working in functions related to Financial controlling
  • Experience in audit companies (Desirable)
  • Accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, MEXGAAP etc.) knowledge


 Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Performance orientation and problem solving
  • Knowledge of ERP SAP FI, CO
  • Language skills
  • High level of the English language (spoken and written) B2
Role Specifications- Role reports directly and provides high quality support to the FC Coordinator and manages the Day to Day FC management activities

  • Review of Financial Documents
  • Including preparation of Financial Documents Review (FSR)
  • Follow up on Actions derived from review forums during month preclose and month close
  • Preparation of monthly GL Account Reconciliations
  • Preparation of Precision Limits and standard publish exercise after month close
  • Preparation of Cost Statements
  • To monitor all activities related to the Supply Operation in FS which finally derived into a booking in the accounting.
  • Follow up on CARM Control completeness:
  • Including the consolidation of needed back up evidence to complete the controls under scope.
  • Follow up on GLAT actions that outcome reconciliation process
  • Give support to any issue, Market teams in Mexico, Bangalore RTR Teams, Budapest CARM or FC Teams may present regarding our financial documents.
  • Generation of inventory reports to specific purposes like counts of inventory in June and December or to prepare monthly reports
  • Audit queries resolve and request for information (PWC / CARM / GAR)
  • Monthly export tracking file
  • Tax requests
  • Any other information request by global team
  • Ad hoc business analysis
