With direction from the Global Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting and in close partnership with all functions globally, the Sr.

Analyst of Financial Reporting will be responsible for the Vantage global financial reporting function.

Responsibilities include establishing timely internal and external reporting and analysis on what is driving the company's performance/position and ensuring proper controls are in place globally.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation of monthly financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder's equity and cash flow statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Preparation of monthly Sales Flash and EBITDA Flash.
  • Preparation of annual financial statements, including footnotes.
  • Work closely with facility controllers to analyze and review monthly balance sheet and P&L results, as well as account reconciliations.
  • Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly analysis of financial results to support the financial statements and provide clarity to Global Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting regarding movements in key balance sheet and nonoperating income statement accounts.
  • Review and analysis of shared service journal entries and reconciliations (debt related activity, income tax activity, equity activity, payroll activity, and intercompany activity).
  • Understand & maintain financial reporting and general ledger structure to maximize current and future reporting requirements and consistency across business units.
  • Assist Global Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting in reporting key metrics and KPIs across the organization.
  • Assist with the external audit process working closely with external audit partners.
  • Participate in cross functional projects and assist other functions with financial reporting and disclosure matters.

DESIRED BACKGROUND:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • 35 years of financial reporting experience.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience a plus.
