Job Summary


This position is a hands-on role and will join an energetic growing team where your primary role will be to take care of company MS SQL servers and databases.

Along with your primary responsibilities, your role will cover problem and incident management, problem analysis, problem solving, access management, DB maintenance, monitoring, reporting and DB query scripting.


We are looking for a team player, willing to collaborate and learn in a fast-paced environment, and able to work independently with high self-motivation.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installation of MS SQL instances and migration databases
  • Patching and upgrade of DB systems
  • Create, change, delete user accounts and manage the roles
  • Configure DB backups and perform restorations
  • Configure maintenance plans and create reports
  • Design and development of databasedriven scripts to implement business requirements
  • Monitoring of the DB systems and performing health checks
  • Performance tunning and aplying best practises for the db instances
  • Participatoin on the projects, translation of business requirements and implementation
  • Troubleshooting of problems, problem analysis and solution implementation
  • Investigate the root cause of incidents and initiate actions to improve or correct the situation
  • Participation on oncall duties, independent solving and troubleshooting of incidents and errors within defined expertise

About You

  • Curious, have a good aptitude for learning and enjoy variety, with opportunities to work with a variety of technologies and systems
  • Advanced MS SQL knowledge
  • Nice to have knowledge in DB
  • Hands on experience with support of MS SQL administration.
  • Nice to have experience with development of databasedriven scripts
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bonus points for knowledge in Azure SQL MI and AWS RDS
  • Strong bias for action and ownership
  • Ability to work as part of an international team, as well as being part of a local market team

Language Skills

  • English
  • Fluent
  • Other languages can be a plus
