O-I has more than a century of experience making pure, sustainable, brand-building glass containers for many of the world's best-known food and beverage manufacturers.
Job Description:
The main scope of this opportunity is to be responsible and accountable for overseeing a portfolio of highly complex projects, initiatives, and requests where the global technical licensing is the sponsor, supplier or primary accountable organization.
They are to assure Project Management Office (PMO) is communicated to and accountable to deliver upon such projects and initiatives within the portfolio.
They are the channel for requests from all stakeholders, and are to ensure project priorities and deliverables are established with consistent and timely communication amongst all stakeholders.
The responsabilities are:
- Strategic management of global technical licensing portfolio, in alignment with other processes, initiatives, and objectives.
- Bring objective decision making and consensus building based on strategic priority, technical viability and resource availability.
- Ensure active stakeholder engagement in defining process objectives and criteria to prioritize initiatives and define project success criteria.
- Assess and monitor the health and value of the portfolio.
- Coordinate communications across multiple initiatives and projects to provide efficient, disciplined and structured communication with stakeholders.
- Identify cross project dependencies and areas for collaboration with other process departments within Global Technology.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Engineering or other relevant discipline
- Project Management or LSS black belt certification preferred
- 5 years combined experience working on projects for manufacturing and/or experience as a team or project leader in the technical area or business related area.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Up to 25% domestic and international travel for visiting regions and plants, partners, and facilitating attending meetings within and outside of O-I.
