Responsibilities:
Support design of the Regional Communications & Public Affairs Strategy for Colombia, Responsible for execution of the annual action plan defined, Actively identify, organize, contact and follow up key stakeholders that are relevant for the business within Andean Region, engaging locally both internal and external advocates, and capturing regional synergies if needed.
Lead both external & internal communications for the region, designing and executing communication plans that support Yara business growth and their local strategy implementation.
This includes content development -with the help of local teams- and publishing, Support Yara senior management for profiling purposes, e.g. at public events & media meetings, including planning and implementing public relations activities, Measure and report on the performance of all local Communications & Public Affairs campaigns, Identify local trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights, Management of local contacts for the local/regional agency, Coach the corresponding Regional Director for the assigned market and their management team in Communications & PA
Profile:
University degree, preferably with post graduate studies, Studies in Communications, Journalism and/or Politics, 3-6 years experience in corporate communications, public relations, business journalism and/or public affairs - government relations Preferred (but not mandatory) experience within food chain industry and/or agribusiness sector
Team worker with the ability to unite colleagues from geographically distant units, Experience in driving change, searching for excellence, with a sense of urgency, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Strong research and analytical skills, Ability to think creatively and innovatively, Budget-management skills, Effective communication, Adaptation to change in the organization
