What We'll Bring:


We are looking for a great communicator to join the Corporate Affairs and Communications team of TransUnion to support the marketing communications needs of our Global Capability Center (GCC) in Costa Rica.


Part of a larger global team, this role will implement best practices in a fast-growing center that supports multiple international markets.


The role will help our GCC in Costa Rica tell its story (and how it supports TransUnion's wider global growth) creatively and effectively across multiple communication and marketing disciplines and platforms, for a variety of different audiences.

You'll be comfortable working with both internal and external stakeholders to support the TransUnion brand and ensure we are known as an employer of choice, in partnership with the Marketing Communication Manager in region.

This role is key in helping us recruit and retain top talent in Costa Rica, and in enabling audiences to better understand who we are and what we do.


What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or another related field and/or professional qualification in related field.
  • A minimum of 3+ years relevant professional experience, preferably at a marketing/communications/PR agency or in a corporate communications setting
  • Communications portfolio experience excellent verbal and written communications skills, with significant writing experience.
  • Excellent Spanish verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with a good command of English.
  • Experience using the following platforms/tools will be advantageous: Smartsheet, Workfront and Rally.
  • Workplace flexibility, this is a hybrid role, you will be asked to attend key meetings and events at the office from time to time.

Impact You'll Make:

  • Act as a specialist for our Global Capability Center in Costa Rica on all communication matters with intermediate expertise across channels
  • Help build the GCC in Costa Rica's reputation (and support wider global brand messaging)
  • Build productive relationships and identify compelling stories and activity to foster a positive associate experience and showcase our employer of choice status. As a strong writer, you'll have the tools to bring these stories to life in an engaging and compelling way (across all communication channels and disciplines)
  • Support projects from start to finish, including creative direction, execution and measurement
  • Grow alongside our Global Capability Center in Costa Rica this role will be hands on but have the ability to progress as our business grows

What you'll bring:

  • A thoughtful marketing communications mindset that ensures key messaging, positioning and measurable objectives are all in alignment with overall global and assigned business unit goals.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills, with a temperament to represent, persuade others and negotiate in the best interests of the company.
  • Ability to help with endtoend event coordination of internal corporate events (including town halls) and external branding events such as conferences, workshops, job fairs, etc.
  • Ability to use analytical capabilities to assess programme impact and to shape and improve future activity
  • Ability to work with multiple, crossfunctional teams and resources in Costa Rica and across TransUnion's other GCCs and channelspecific teams in other geographies (South Africa and India)
  • Aptitude to guide cross functional teams in our GCC, adhering to the corporate communication standards of TransUnion
  • Experience working with outside agencies and wider suppliers for effective delivery of key activity
  • A flair for creativity, flexibility and initiative
  • Ability to form collaborative working relationships (internal and external) at all levels
  • Willingness to support the broader corporate communications team on key projects.
  • Willingness to perform other related duties as assigned.
