Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Liaise and provide up-to-date medical support to relevant external groups to ensure evidence-based understanding of Novartis products relative to medical guidelines, and health economics information.
  • Provide and discuss medical and Pharmacoeconomics information with HCPs and key SH to ensure quality and accuracy of our value proposals.
  • Map, identify and prioritize traditional/nontraditional SH. (Scientific, Healthcare & research institutions, payers and policy organizations). Partnership with them through strategic and impactful, sciencebased relations, in compliance with our Novartis ́ values as well as with local regulations, to cocreate solutions for HCS gaps.
  • Gathers, shares and acts on insights to identify data gaps/evidence generation opportunities (including RWE and Implementation Science data), for the patient journey mapping and identification of pivotal points, in line with patient access strategy.
  • Creates and implements Medical Engagement Plans/Institutional Plans with strong Internal crossfunctional teamwork.
  • Supports national health policies/guideline changes, early access, population health approaches, Protocol implementations, formulary access, national disease awareness/education in partnership with national and regional institutions/patient organizations, leading to improved disease awareness, understanding, and significant changes in behavior.
  • Actively support data generation/ real world evidence (RWE) plans for the brand.

Minimum requirements

What you'll bring to the role:

  • University degree in life science is mandatory, physician (MD) is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Proved training/experience in Epidemiology, RWD, Clinical Pharmacology OR Masters, Doctoral or Post-Doctoral diploma in Public Health, Hospital Administration. and/or +4 years field experience as administrator/auditor in hospital settings or HMOs is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry (commercial, patient access liaison, MSL, training, access, etc.) is desirable
  • English at a fluent level
