Purpose

The role of the
_Finance Sr.

Associate_ is critical to help the Colombia Affiliate to drive the P2P, Supply Chain & Logistics transformation in the affiliate.

The person who fills this role will be responsible for coordinating, simplifying and innovating the local P2P and Supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with the LATAM Hub & the GBS teams to meet P2P's level of service to the affiliate.
  • Coordinate the annual 3rd party vendors risk assessment and maintain the local vendors contract tracker updated.
  • Support engagement owners to find OPEX savings opportunities from the Procurement perspective.
  • Lead the Local S&OP and guarantee that OSSCE metrics meet targets.
  • Coordinate the local Logistics processes and control of distribution costs.
  • Work towards established timelines around month end, quarter end and year end.
  • Ensure relevant analytics are conducted to provide confidence that the data are complete, accurate, and timely.
  • Lead the identification and implementation of process improvements.
Collaborate and influence local Business & Global/Regional partners, seeking for simplified and innovative processes

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships / communication with global and regional crossfunctional business process and data owners
  • Partner with business areas; leverage partnerships to influence business process changes, where appropriate

Additional Preferences:

  • Understanding of P2P Finance and Supply Chain Finance, and project management principles desirable, but not essential
  • Experience working with global business partners
  • High degree of comfort working with Finance Data and in a technical environment
  • Demonstrated teamwork and ability to work effectively across organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and improve business processes and solutions
  • Ability to analyze data in order to draw conclusions

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and complete key tasks and deliverables whilst also engaging others to achieve their deadlines towards compliance & change initiatives

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration / Finance / Engineering
  • Effective team member with ability to work across a diverse and crossfunctional work group.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to change
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Advanced Research, analytical and issues resolution skills
  • Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Developed good relationships with various levels of personnel in Lilly's Financial organization and thirdparty service providers
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Power Point etc )
Systems

  • Experience in MS Office
  • SAP Experience
  • Power BI
