Medical Operation Specialist in this position you will be ensuring that the affiliate medical affairs delivers value to the members, patients, and the medical community through excellence in the planning and execution of projects medical activities.
Ensure the quality of processes and compliance in the affiliate medical affairs through the development and control of procedures and documentation, conducting audits of service providers, conducting internal audits, in accordance with local regulations and AbbVie's global requirements.
Responsabilities:
- Meet Global and Area needs to maximize the impact of the solutions offered by the affiliate medical affairs.
- Participate in the creation of solutions that create organizational efficiencies, the ability to effectively communicate designs, and process improvements to different audiences.
- Develop, in partnership with the managers of the affiliate medical affairs, qualitative and quantitative metrics and KPIs to assess progress and ensure continuous improvement of the teams' activities.
- Lead the implementation of the Affiliate Medical Operations capability, focusing on improving and streamlining the overall processes of the affiliate medical affairs area.
- Participate in risk analysis and mitigation plan development, implementing actions to maximize opportunities.
- Exercise leadership of the capability Affiliate Medical Operations and create an action plan to ensure the planning, management, and implementation of the capability's activities.
- Participate in the strategic planning of the Medical Operations department in accordance with the company's vision and mission, strategic objectives of the affiliate medical affairs, and corporate regulations.
- Ensure that the quality process of the Medical Board is planned and executed in accordance with the processes and requirements of AbbVie and Colombian Regulations.
- Ensure that Affiliate Medical Operations employees and service providers are functionally qualified to represent the area in their respective functions, projects, and activities.
- Attend the governance meetings of the Medical Operations department.
- Represent AbbVie in the most diverse government agencies, class associations, public entities, and others that require the presence of an official technical interlocutor to "express the thinking and/or practice of the AbbVie Medical affairs team in generating evidence, quality, and medical projects, when delegated by the Medical Operations Manager.
- Provide support for EHS (safety, health, and environment) policies and practices, participating in and supporting actions in the area.
- Conduct decisions and actions under the responsibility of the position, in compliance with the company's Code of Business Conduct, as well as local sectoral legislation.
Qualifications:

Complete superior, scientific background.
- Advanced English (oral/written)
- Quality performance or training in pharmaceutical industries/CROs minimum 5 years and/or;
- Practice in clinical research minimum 5 years and/or;
- Work in Medical Excellence or Medical Area minimum 5 years.
