Sr Sourcing Procurement Specialist

This role will be part of the Procurement Operations area. Procurement Operations organization provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial, compliance, procurement, and enablement solutions to our Operating Companies around the world. This position is based in Bogotá, Colombia.

What You Will Do

The Sr. Sourcing Specialist, is responsible for:

Key Responsibilities

Align with stakeholders

oSupports the Category Managers with the identification of stakeholders, the initiation of the strategy development as well as execution of sourcing projects, assuring that their input is considered in the bidding process.

oActively engages with stakeholders as defined in alignment with the Category Managers throughout the strategy development and sourcing execution process.

oPrepares the stage gate documentation

Supports sourcing

oSupports the Category Managers in the analysis and definition of the category spend baseline and category profile, incl. risk assessment and SRM strategy

oSupports development of Go-To-Market and negotiation strategies in alignment with the Category Managers and ensures proper documentation

oProvides support during the supplier screening and supplier selection process

oPerforms sourcing management, performs Category Manager activities for projects with limited complexity

oExecutes end-to-end sourcing projects for categories assigned:

§Participates in internal and external analysis (industry & supplier) in collaboration with Category Managers

§Performs supplier selection and fact-based negotiations, validated by the Category Manager

§Involves the business for actions related to supplier base optimization, KPI implementation and follow up, etc.

§Conducts spend map analysis to monitor spend and ensure that all purchases follow the purchasing process

§Continuously tracks forecasted vs. actual savings according to the Value Tracking Process for category in scope - defines corrective/optimization actions if needed and follows up on them (escalate to Category Manager, if needed)

oInterfaces between the Procurement organization and the product development, planning and supply teams in the region in alignment with the Category Manager's projects

oProvides insights on Procurement analytics and data to support the operations.

oKeeps track of the main KPIs such as Savings, cycle time, payment terms, Backlog among others.

oCommunicate procurement data insights and recommendations to executive leadership and other stakeholders

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

·Academic background: Professional in Business administration, industrial engineering or similar. A recognized qualification in procurement would be considered an asset

·Language Capabilities: Fluent Spanish and intermediate English is required, Portuguese is a Plus

·Experience: 1-3 years' professional experience in the same functional domain or other related positions, preferably knowledge of indirect categories at hand and working in an international environment; good experience with supplier selection, negotiation and contracting area is necessary.
