Enterprise Digital Architect work with Application Teams to deliver technology initiatives across Citi ICG Vision & Strategy while deliver the best solutions for our clients and better DX for our Engineers.

They rely on continuous feedback, foster adaptive design, and engineering practices, and drive programs and teams to rally around a Common Technical Vision.

The importance of an effective, incremental implementation strategy can hardly be overstated. Building the technical foundation for business epics into the scalable architecture must be an incremental process. Continuous technical learning and fast feedback allow architecture and business functionality to grow synchronously over time.

The ability of teams and programs to refactor as necessary and preserve multiple possible design options wherever practical supports this.

Abstraction and generalization help avoid binding specificity too early, which preserves architectural flexibility for future business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Executes the architectural vision for all IT systems through major, complex IT architecture projects; ensures that architecture conforms to enterprise blueprints.
  • Develops technology road maps, while keeping uptodate with emerging technologies, and recommends business directions based on these technologies.
  • Provides technical leadership and is responsible for developing components of, or the overall systems design.
  • Applies hardware engineering and software design theories and principles in researching, designing, and developing product hardware and software interfaces.
  • Provides integrated systems planning and recommends innovative technologies that will enhance the current system.
  • Impacts the architecture function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating services.
  • Guides, influences and persuades others with developed communication and diplomacy skills.
  • Promoting the Engineering and Architecture Standards across the region, to ensure the teams comply according to the Architecture Review Governance Process.
  • Participating in Engineering and Architecture Global Forums with SMEs on Best Practices and NextGen Technologies to cascade down the strategy, the onboarding process, infrastructure changes and upcoming releases.
  • Reporting to Senior managers the adoption plan of Digital Strategies across the Region.
  • Designing initiatives for being change maker in the organization, promoting the career development of the technical teams, focusing in the "People" perspective through different kind of strategies that look for reinforcing soft and technical skills.
  • Promoting between technical talents the motivation of being a Trainer in the Training programs of the organization.
  • Connecting with Global Teams to involve the LATAM Region in the PoCs related to new releases of technology.
  • Promoting with leadership the diversity and the inclusion in the organization through the development of activities with the Latin Engineering Community.
  • Promoting collaboration with the architects associated to each line of business to ensure common practices, sharing knowledge, the discussion of architectural approaches and the alignment between the teams.
  • Providing architectural solutions to critical issues to the Brazil Chief Technology Officer to help in the decisionmaking process.
  • Looking for opportunities in the current legacy implementations to provide technical feedback to the Senior Managers to implement new approaches like microservices, streaming data, APIs, Kubernetes.
  • Supporting technical analysis to ensure the technology alignment with the business according to their expectation in terms of number of business transactions for huge clients.

Qualifications:

- +5 years relevant experience

  • Strong leadership skills to influence and collaborate with others
  • Strong knowledge on API Standards and Best Practices
  • Strong knowledge on DevOps/CICD
  • Knowledge at least in one language like Java,.NET, Python, etc.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Desired experience as a Trainer
  • Experience working as Technical Liaison of Senior Technology Managers
  • Selfstarter with ability to take the initiative and master new initiatives quickly
  • English
  • Spanish and Portuguese is desired
  • AWS/Azure Certifications are preferable

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
