Key responsibilities:Become involved in the analysis, design and implementation of the IT infrastructure (on premise and/or cloud based) that supports Dedalus Solutions at regional and sub-regional level. Monitor and maintain Dedalus and customers IT infrastructure performance, availability, and security. Troubleshooting and problem-solving related to the infrastructure, including system failures, network outages, and security incidents. Participate and deploy the Dedalus infrastructure initiatives / projects at regional / sub-regional level. Help design and quote IT infrastructure on public clouds as well as on On-Premise vendors. Specifically:
Deploy and maintain IT infrastructure servers, databases, networking services, etc on AWS or Azure clouds, as well as on On-Premise datacenters. Maintain and patch OSes, DBMS, and J2EE App Servers. Infrastructure incident solving: adjustments, corrective actions, restorations, etc. Optimize performance of databases, networks, applications, and servers. Perform up to level 2 Database tasks: e.g. Backup configurations, executions, restorations; Index reconstruction; Parameter modifications for instances, datafiles, tables, etc.; Instances stop, start, or change to a required intermediate status, etc. Manage user accounts and access via broad area virtual private networks (VPNs), fixing network and connectivity issues. J2EE application deployment and Troubleshooting. Partner with the application development team to build, implement, and troubleshoot applications. Manage the security of computer systems and inter-application information transfers. Manage the cloud or VM host environments to ensure proper tuning and sufficient capacity.Provide advice and support to sales and pre-sales teams. Act as / provide internal and external guidance and advice to customer business areas and customer IT departments in infrastructure matters. Act as a point of escalation for the support services team. Become a trusted infrastructure advisor for customers looking to deploy Dedalus solutions. Keep abreast of both company portfolio development as well as industry trends in regards of the infrastructure requirements. Help customers attain data standardization and consistency when designing integration approach
